The LAB“ Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Event saitzman as
Executive Director. Erem previously held the position or Manager-Damage Prevention for
men since 201:5.
Brent brings a wealth or knowledge to the Executive Direcmr position. in his role as
Manager-Damage Pvevemion, he was responsioie for providing presentations regarding
LAaws operations, the Louisiana underground utilities 5 Facilities Damage Prevention
Law (Dig Law) and sare digging practices. He has worked with various stskeholdels
across Louisiana including utility operators, excavators, iocai and srare poiiticai
subdivisions and errforcemenl agencies.
Prior to icining LAB“. Brent's background inciuded work at Aiien construction company
as construction Managerivuoiic Remions and at Ears! Ascension reiephone company
(EATEL) as the Business Manager and outside Flam Engineering supervisor. He has
served on various boards and committees including the \.Afl\l Board of Directors,
Ascension Parish utiiity council. Livingston Parish uriiity Council, Association or Louisiana
utiiity councils and the capitai Area utiiity rzisk Partnership. He's a Leadership Ascension
graduate and has earned a Bs Degree fvurm Louisiana state university.
