At Boardwalk Pipelines Partners we strive
to protect our communities and our environment. As Houma Area Supervisor my team and I take Louisiana 811 seriously. We work hard every day to ensure that our Natural Gas pipelines are safe and damage free. While we have Natural Gas pipelines all over South Louisiana it is a priority to make sure everyone is aware and comply with Louisiana 811 dig law. We have multiple public awareness meetings in all of our operating areas the make everyone aware of the underground pipelines
in every Parish that is affected. As we meet with homeowners and farmers, we are constantly explaining the importance of Louisiana 811. Always dig safe and Call or Click to get your underground utilities located. As a member of Louisiana 811’s Board of Directors,
I will strive to help spread the message of Damage Prevention not only in my area but across the State of Louisiana.

CenterPoint Energy training is focused on making sure your leadership and field personnel understand the 811 state laws, safe digging best practices, and other tips to help your projects be completed damage free without the delays and expenses of cutting a natural gas line. Most importantly, it is critical we cover how to stay safe in the event of a cut natural gas line.
Our training also covers the steps to prevent natural gas ignition, explosion, and inherent risks should blowing gas from a damaged pipeline occur in your community.
